Eva Dauer is my great-grandmother. She was born to Andreas Dauer and Marianna Aumiller on 23 December 1857. She was the second of five children born to Andreas and Marianna, the eldest daughter.

Joseph, my great-grandfather, was born to Joseph Plenzler and Mary Lisiecka on 21 February 1855, the second son and fourth child in a family of ten children. The village where the Plenzler family lived, Wiorek, is in the area of Poznań.
